Brilliant stuff. This is a neat project.

  2. @TempoFurioso do not be put off by the limited range… even bach chaconne, one of the finest piece, an perhaps the best, is written in only one stave…

  3. well… the ukulele does have a very baroque tone… it sounds like a violin’s pizzicato

@CheekyVimto08 I stopped playing the guitar as well for those reasons, basically upon finding and listening to the great organ works of Bach, it really made me question why the hell I was playing guitar at all haha

i dont play the guitar anymore because it only has 4 octaves. i understand what hes going through

  6. @musicalmichaeltran

Pls share with us the tab!

  7. i think this is bach’s 4th invention it has invention in the name somewhere

  8. i have the first part of this down on uke ;] im the only one i think =]

  9. I wonder how Bach would sound on a banjo uke?

  10. @sarngiber – Baritone Uke is strung ebgd which naturally gives you a wider range…. however, re-entrant tuning allows a different style of playing with it’s own benefits and physical limitations. It would be almost like switching from uke to guitar. Both have strings and look similar but you play them each a totally different way.

  11. I don’t know if this is borderline blasphemy but why doesn’t he try restringing his ukulele to widen it’s range.

  12. @_@ Smooth and quick!! God
